The Manson Creek property consists of two mineral claims (QCM claims) located seven kilometres northwest of the village of Manson Creek in north-central British Columbia. The region is well known for its placer gold production and the property has been explored by several senior and junior exploration companies since 1972. The claims were acquired as, or were converted to, the new "cell" variety staked on-line using the B C government's "Mineral Titles Online" system. The claims are in good standing to April 2012. The Manson Creek Property is located in one of British Columbia's oldest placer gold camps, the source of which could be the Company's Property. The Company has a 100% working interest in the Property. The primary target at Manson Creek is a large, low-grade gold system - the QCM Zone. The QCM Zone coincides broadly with a well-developed gold soil anomaly, strong resistivity anomaly and weak-to-moderate chargeability anomaly. The gold-bearing QCM Zone is interpreted to be slab-like in shape with a gentle (30°) SW dip and thickness of about 40 meters or so. The geology is similar to the Spanish Mountain property being explored by Skygold Ventures. Since 2004, the Company has drilled 31 core holes totaling 6,544 metres. Eight holes tested a number of reconnaissance targets, without significant gold intersections. The remaining 23 holes tested a broad gold soil and rock gold geochemical anomaly extending over an area of 800 m. by 400 m. and partly coincident IP chargeability and resistivity anomalies. The anomalies occur within strongly pyritic, carbonate-altered and quartz-veined greywackes, which crop out over a large area. The anomalies were drill tested originally by Anaconda in 1983 with encouraging results (Hole 83-14 intersected 76.2 metres grading 1.21 g/t gold). Drilling has encountered a number of wide intervals with gold grades near 1.0 g/t (grams per metric ton). Examples are 04-002: 110.95 metres grading 0.658 g/t gold, 04-003: 141.0 metres grading 0.783 g/t gold (including 48.0 m grading 1.05 g/t gold) and 04-005: 187.5 metres grading 0.447 g/t gold. A bonanza-grade intercept, containing visible gold, occurs in DDH04-002, which grades 173 g/t gold over 1.5 metres at a down-hole depth of 63.00 metres. Click here to view Manson Creek Drill Results
